I saw this on facebook... It is one of the brilliant ways that gay activists have advanced their cause. They have turned gay marriage into a civil rights issue. The problem is that race is not on an equal plane with sexual orientation! Sigh. Race is a state of being. The homosexual lifestyle is a behavior. It kills me that those who believe in traditional marriage are painted as bigots.
J wrote a guest post about this very issue on Leila's blog a while back. Being in a trans-racial marriage (along with other issues you know about!) gives us an edge on the subject! And the comparison is total cr*p! Makes me so mad!
