4 years!

It's hard to believe that it is has been four years since our wedding day! July 14, 2007 our souls were joined forever, and while the past four years have been full of ups and downs, they have been the best of my life!

We had approximately 280 people at the wedding, and we had the most beautiful nuptial Mass! Our priest has an incredible voice, and he sang the Consecration. :)

The day was perfect in every way!

I remember getting emotional walking down the aisle with my dad. Not only was I walking toward the love of my life, but I remember looking at all the people who had taken time out of their day to celebrate our marriage, and I just felt overwhelmingly blessed. Each person up until that day had a unique impact on our lives, and now they were witnessing our marriage. It was humbling.

The weather was hot but beautiful with a breeze, the food was awesome, and the candy table was a hit! :)

Over the last four years, we have learned a lot about each other and ourselves. It has been a difficult road at times, but anytime we have to stretch ourselves, it is going to hurt a little bit. We are stretching ourselves into the people that God created us to be, and I believe that God works through our spouses to smooth out the rough edges on each of us.

Our marriage has been such a blessing, and I get overwhelmed with emotion when I think about what a wonderful man God has blessed me with. He loves me more deeply than I know, and I am undeserving. I am proud to be his wife!

4 years ago to the minute, we were ordering room service in our hotel suite after dancing the night away with family and friends. We were definitely NOT the couple who was so exhausted after their reception that all they could do was crawl into bed. ;)

Due to the tight schedule at our parish, we opted to see each other before the ceremony so that we could take pictures.  This was right after Bill saw me for the first time. :)

After 5 years of dating, it was hard to believe the day had finally arrived!
