lack of an update

Wow, thank you so much for the outpouring of support! You are all amazing, and I so appreciate all the kind words and prayers!

I would have updated sooner except that there hasn't been much development. I am still waiting for the phone call from the CPS investigator. Unless of course you count my sister and her boyfriend's off beat sense of humor when they prank called me posing as the investigator and his assistant. Yes, they have a rare sick talent for walking the line between the inappropriate and the humorous.

After their 15-20 minute phone call asking me various questions that will probably truly get asked... I have to say that I do feel more prepared to answer any questions.

I have typed out a detailed minute to minute description of our day last Monday, and I have been over and over everything in my head multiple times. There truly wasn't a single incident when J even got upset or showed signs of pain.

J's mom and I have emailed back and forth, and she has told me that J seems to be doing well with the cast. Babies are so resilient! :)

Also, I did mention the Brittle Bone Disease possibility to J's mom, and she said she would mention it to J's doctors.
