7 Quick Takes (vol. 15)

1. I have missed doing quick takes!

2. I love snow! We just got pelted with 4 more inches yesterday, and I couldn't be more excited about it! Everyone else seems to be complaining about how snow loses its charm after Christmas, but I will forever disagree!

3. I have been praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet every night before bed, using my iRosary app for my phone, and I love it! I have been offering at least one decade each night for various bloggers. If you want me pray for you and a specific intention, please let me know!

4. I love hooded sweatshirts! They are so comfy, and on days when I am home all day, I usually have one on. I do make an effort to put on a cuter shirt before Bill gets home, but if I have no one to look cute for, a hoodie is one of my favorite clothing items! :)

5. I haven't had a pedicure in a few months, and my feet are feeling the pain! :) I don't do manicures because they get ruined within a day, but pedicures are one something that I have to do at least a couple times a year preferably every 8 weeks if it is in the budget!

6. I am still running, and I am running 2 miles every other day. I am thinking about doing another 5k on the second weekend in February.

7. We have a 1 car detached garage, and we don't use it as much as we should even though it is organized (thanks to Bill!) and has plenty of room for a car. I came home yesterday during the snow, and instead of taking the extra 2 minutes to pull into the garage, I decided to be lazy and just park in the driveway. Now I wish I hadn't done that because we got two more inches of snow that is now covering my car. So now I have created an extra 5 minutes of work for myself next time I need to drive somewhere because I will have to scrape the whole car. So my laziness has cost me 3 minutes of my life...

And on a happy note, have a wonderful weekend!!!! :)

  1. #2 - kindred spirits, I LOVE snow.
#3 - Yes please could you include me in your prayers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
#4 - Me too!!! A little bit different for me because as soon as I get from work I take off the nice clothes and put the hoodie on - or maybe even just put the hoodie on over my work clothes because our house is quite cold.
#5 - Oh yes, those are so nice! I hope you can get one soon!

Have a great weekend and enjoy the snow!

  2. I don't like this snow or the cold! I thought I had excaped that when I moved "south" but looks like it followed me here!

I pretty much live in my pj's, sweatpants and sweatshirts if I am not leaving the house.

  3. #3: For a healthy pregnancy and to heal my body of anything that might harm my daughter;

#4: I can't stand hoodies because I feel like they choke me, BUT I love sweat shirts. On the days when I do not feel like getting out of my sweat shirt, I will change into something nicer before DH comes home. I thought I was the only one!

  7. How awesome that you are running! I wish I had it in me...

I dislike hoodies too, Ann, because I feel like I'm being chocked. Interestingly, I LOVE turtlenecks. I make no sense.

  8. Sorry, that's "choked", not chocked. Getting tired.

  9. I love these comments! :) Ladies, your prayer requests have been added!

JBTC, I prayed for you last night!

Julie, it is almost 2 in the afternoon, and I am still in my hoodie and sweats! :) Sexy, right? haha

Ann, I will definitely pray! So funny about you changing too! I always feel like people will think I'm old fashioned, but I love looking cute for my husband, and he appreciates it. :)

So funny about you ladies feeling choked by hoodies! :) I only choked with my two year old pulls on the strings. ha!

Kaitlin, you should borrow one of Ted's!!

Awaiting, oh yes! iRosary is AWESOME! :)

Living in the Lord, I can tell that you have such a big heart! I will pray for your husband's heart!

SC, so funny about the turtlenecks! I definitely like them too as long as they aren't itchy wool!

  10. I will forever love both snow and hoodies too lol. And I also change into special outfits for Dh. Is it bad that I now tend to dress up more for family and friends than work?
