7 Quick Takes (vol. 15)

1. I have been sick since Wed. night with a horrible cold. :( The feeling of not being able to breathe and not being able to taste food is not fun.

2. I have to admit that as much as I love the snow, I am ready for Spring. We have been hit hard with sickness this winter. Two bouts with the stomach flu, and now colds.

3. I just bought the most amazing app for my iphone! It is called Confession: A Roman Catholic App! It is only $1.99, and it is so cool! It personalizes an examination of conscience for you based on your sex, age, and vocation! You can check the sins you have struggled with, and then you can click the confession tab, and it walks you through the confession listing all the sins you checked during your examination of conscience! It even tells you how long it has been since your last confession based on the date you enter! Then it gives you a list of various acts of contrition! I am telling you, if you have an iphone or an ipod touch, get this app! It is so neat!

4. I finished Unplanned by Abby Johnson in under 36 hours! It is an amazing and eye opening book, and I highly recommend it!

5. I am not a picky eater at all, and I will try anything once!

6. We have black carpet in our basement chosen by the previous owners. Yes, you read that right, BLACK carpet... I hate it with a passion. It constantly needs to be vacuumed....

7. After sitting her for 10 minutes trying to think of a seventh thing... I am giving up. Happy Friday!

  6. Ah, that app sounds awesome! We have used the iPhone rosary app before (the one where you can count on the beads).
