1. I have a tattoo of a butterfly on my hip that still looks perfect after two babies!
2. I have a degree in elementary education, and I expected to love teaching, but I honestly found it more stressful than anything, and I doubt that I will ever go back to it.
3. After being so excited to be done with school, I may someday (way in the future) want to go back for a degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy.
4. I love to cook but hate to clean up the mess. (not really surprising...)
5. DVR changed my life (so sad...), and yet I am still up way to late!
6. I am very pleased with myself that I have stuck with blogging since March! Usually, I start something, get very excited about it, and then stop after awhile.
7. I really thought that once we got a security system, I would never be scared again, but when Bill is out of town, I still get nervous. I am better than before but still not at ease.
8. My husband has more shoes than I do!
9.I love all things coffee! I never thought I would, and now it is one of my favorite beverages. In fact, I mostly drink decaf!
10. Being a total extrovert, I always have more fun if there are people around, but these days, I find myself really enjoying the quiet sometimes. I enjoy my alone time, and appreciate the stillness.

Fun to get to know little things about you. A tattoo? I would have never guessed that.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to #10 - I have been finding myself in this camp more and more. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteWell this is a fun blog post to read and to think about writing! ;) I completely relate to the stress of #2! I taught elementary for 7 years. I loved it, but woah- very stressful!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm very happy about #6!
Totally unrelated - but are you a Big Ten fan? I saw your comment on Hebrew's blog (hopefully I didn't misread it) and I am an avid Badgers fan (my alma mater). What team do you root for? I am going to go with Indiana or Purdue, or is it someone else? My brother played for Purdue for a couple of years back in the early 2000s, but I never actually went to a game in West Layfayette, only when they played the Badgers at home in Madison. Okay, sorry to hijack the comments for football talk, but hey, maybe you could call it one of the surprising things about me.
ReplyDeleteLove this!!!! I'm scared of the dark too! Bigtime!
ReplyDeleteJBTC, yes, I am a Boilermaker. :) That's awesome about your brother! I was there from 2002-2006 so I may have seen him play!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my DVR!!!! It's pretty ridiculous how often we use it! Remember how much of a pain it was to program the VCR???
ReplyDeleteDVR and #10..meee too!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, yeah-calling me out because I haven't blogged in a while.... :)
ReplyDeleteOk I'm gonna do it :)
ReplyDeleteI should do this, but I already said no the first time and now I would feel like a heel if I did it this time! I will agonize about this for hours now.... thanks a lot. (ha ha, jk! Well, I'll only agonize for a little while.)
ReplyDeletehaha Leila, don't worry, I understand! I didn't realize you had already been tagged once! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm working on my list mentally!
ReplyDeleteI came over to say I love your new picture! Your girls are so precious!!!
