1. Today is my sweet Lucy's 1st Birthday! I now have two toddlers, and it is bittersweet!
2. I discovered Thai food last week, and I am ADDICTED!!! I have been craving it ever since, and it is right up there with my favorite foods now! Padd Thai is FANTASTIC!
3. I have made a renewed effort to get to the Adoration chapel once a week, and I am loving it! My sister has been going with me late at night, and I am so excited because she has been 4 or 5 times now without me!
4. When I was in 5th grade, I was inspired by cancer patients who didn't have hair, and I decided that if they can be brave like that I could wear my orthodontic head gear to school... it only lasted two days...
5. I love marshmallows and s'mores! Fall is my absolute favorite season!
6. I have a thing for Yankee candles! I just love the way the make a house smell homey and cozy! I always have one burning in the fall and winter!
7. We have recently discovered Aldi, and we love it! Everything is so cheap, and so far I like all of their brands except for the cereal knock offs. Special K with red berries and Multigrain Cheerios just cannot be duplicated!
I LOVE Thai food. Correction: I LOVE peanut sauce, so loving any Thai food in peanut sauce comes quite naturally. :-) Happy birthday to Lucy!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Lucy! I've never had Thai food, but perhaps I should try! LOL at the headgear! I wore braces as an adult, and I made myself accountable to my first graders for wearing my rubber bands!!! I told them I had to do it and that I didn't want to, adn that they could call me on it if they saw me without them! It worked! :)

I am so glad I got to see you and the birthday girl today! Lucy is so adorable!! Too bad the big girls had to both have accidents. I hope you don't find a wet spot from Callie in your house somewhere because she never did tell me where she did it.

Did you know that on Thursday nights there is a local Thai place that has a buffet! Andrew and I have been wanting to go. In fact we tried last week, but it was "vegetarian night" no thanks!

#3 - I have never been to adoration...but in a few hours I won't be able to say that anymore. Our church does not have an adoration chapel, but the Blessed Sacrament will be in the main sanctuary today as we participate in a day of prayer to remember 9/11. I haven't blogged about the anticipation I'm feeling because I want to blog about the whole experience.
